Terms of Use

Last updated 1 October 2026

These terms set out how you can use Bobbi to compare healthcare providers, what you can expect from us, and the limits of what we are responsible for. Please read them carefully.

On this page

1. About these terms

Bobbi’s services are operated by Bobbi Health Pty Ltd (ACN 690 319 316, ABN 61 690 319 316) (Bobbi, we, us or our).

These Terms of Use (Terms) apply to our website at www.bobbi.com.au (the Website), our comparison app at appv2.bobbi.com.au (the App), and any related services we provide (together, Bobbi’s services).

2. Accepting these terms

By using Bobbi’s services, you accept these Terms. You may also accept them by clicking to agree where we give you that option. If you do not agree, please do not use Bobbi’s services.

We may change these Terms by publishing an updated version on this page. We will use reasonable efforts to tell you about material changes. Changes apply from the date they are published and do not apply to anything that happened before then. We recommend you keep a copy of these Terms for your records.

3. What Bobbi is, and is not

Bobbi is an independent Australian healthcare comparison service. We help you compare providers across dentistry, orthodontics, optometry, audiology, physiotherapy, dermatology, fertility and IVF, men’s health, women’s health, weight management, mental health and sexual health, and, if you ask us to, we put you in touch with providers that match your answers.

Bobbi is not a clinic, a telehealth provider or a pharmacy. We do not provide healthcare, diagnose, prescribe or dispense.

Information on Bobbi’s services is general information only. It is not medical advice and does not take your individual health circumstances into account. Any care you receive is provided by the provider you choose, after its own clinical assessment of you. Always talk to a qualified health professional about your own health.

Bobbi is not for emergencies. If it’s an emergency, call 000. For crisis support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

4. Who can use Bobbi

You may use Bobbi’s services only if:

  • you are of legal age to form a binding contract with us; and
  • you are not barred from using Bobbi’s services under the laws of Australia or any other place that applies to you.

Bobbi’s services are intended for people in Australia looking for care from Australian providers.

5. Using the comparison

To compare providers, you answer a short questionnaire. We use your answers to match you with providers and order your results. Our approach is explained on how we rank.

You agree that the information you give us is accurate and your own. If your answers are incomplete or wrong, your matches may not suit you.

To see the names of your matched providers, you give us your first name, email address and phone number. When you do, you consent to us sharing those details and your relevant answers with up to three matched providers so they can contact you. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we share and what we keep private.

Being matched does not mean a provider will contact you, accept you as a patient, or offer a particular treatment, appointment time or price. Using Bobbi does not oblige you to book with any provider.

6. Comparison information

Fees, wait times, availability and other details shown in a comparison come from providers. They can change at any time, and we cannot guarantee they are complete, accurate or current when you see them. Please confirm fees and what is included directly with a provider before you book.

Some tables, prices and provider examples on the Website are illustrative. They show how a comparison works and are not offers from real providers.

We do not claim to compare every provider in Australia, or every product or service a provider offers.

7. How Bobbi is funded

Bobbi is free for you to use. At launch, no provider is charged to be listed, contacted through Bobbi or shown in your results. No provider can pay to rank higher. If providers are charged in future, we will say so on how we make money before it takes effect.

8. Your dealings with providers

Providers listed on Bobbi are independent businesses. They are not Bobbi’s employees, agents or partners, and Bobbi does not supervise or control their clinical judgment or the services they provide.

If you book with a provider, your agreement is with that provider, not with Bobbi. The provider is responsible for its own services, fees, billing, cancellations, refunds, clinical care and how it handles your personal information. Please raise any concern about those matters with the provider first. You can also tell us, and we will consider it, but we are not able to resolve a dispute between you and a provider.

Providers are responsible for holding the registrations, licences and insurance their work requires. If you want to check a practitioner’s registration, you can search the public register at www.ahpra.gov.au.

9. Upload Script

Upload Script lets an existing patient compare what they could pay elsewhere for the same treatment. On the Website, if you attach a photo or PDF of your script, the file stays on your device and is not uploaded to Bobbi. You share your script with your new clinic yourself, during your consult. Estimated prices shown are a guide only, and the new clinic will decide whether a script or treatment is suitable for you.

10. The comparison app and your account

The main “Get my free comparison” buttons on the Website take you to the App. The App also collects questionnaire answers and contact details, and you may be able to create an account. These Terms and our Privacy Policy apply to the App.

If you create an account, you agree to:

  • give accurate information and keep it up to date;
  • keep your login details confidential, and not let anyone else use your account; and
  • tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone has used your account without permission.

You can ask us to close your account at any time.

11. Acceptable use

You must use Bobbi’s services only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You must not:

  • give false information, or submit an enquiry on someone else’s behalf without their permission;
  • use Bobbi’s services for any commercial purpose we have not approved in writing;
  • copy, scrape or collect information from Bobbi’s services by automated means, including bots, crawlers and scripts;

  • frame or mirror the Website or App without our permission;
  • interfere with, disrupt or try to gain unauthorised access to Bobbi’s services or the systems behind them; or
  • upload or transmit viruses or other harmful code.

We may remove content or take action, including legal action, in response to any illegal or unauthorised use.

12. Intellectual property

Bobbi’s services, and their content and compilation (including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, code, design and interactive features), are owned or licensed by Bobbi and protected by Australian and international copyright and trade mark laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Bobbi’s services for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, including to view, cache and print pages for that purpose.

You must not broadcast, republish, upload to a third party, transmit, post, distribute, show or play in public, adapt or change Bobbi’s services or their content without our prior written permission. Nothing in these Terms transfers to you any business name, trading name, domain name, trade mark, design, patent or copyright, or any right to use them.

13. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Personal information you give us through Bobbi’s services is handled under our Privacy Policy.

Bobbi’s services may link to provider websites and other third-party sites. We provide those links for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

15. Australian Consumer Law and disclaimers

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law:

  • all terms, guarantees, warranties, representations and conditions not expressly stated in these Terms are excluded;
  • Bobbi’s services are provided “as is” and “as available”; and
  • we do not warrant that Bobbi’s services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss or damage arising from:

  • errors, omissions, interruptions, delays, defects, viruses, loss of data, communication failures, unlawful third-party conduct, or unauthorised access to records;
  • the accuracy, suitability or currency of information provided by providers or other third parties;
  • any act or omission of a provider, including the healthcare, advice, fees or other services it provides or does not provide;
  • any decision you make, or care you receive, after using Bobbi’s services; or
  • costs you incur as a result of using Bobbi’s services, or links provided for your convenience.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bobbi is not liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, opportunity or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with Bobbi’s services or these Terms, however it arises (including in negligence). This does not apply to loss that is a reasonably foreseeable result of our failure to comply with a consumer guarantee.

Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying Bobbi’s services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Bobbi, its officers, employees, agents, contributors and licensors against claims, losses, costs and liabilities (including reasonable legal costs) to the extent they arise from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of Bobbi’s services, or information you give us that you were not entitled to give.

18. Suspension and ending these terms

These Terms apply for as long as you use Bobbi’s services. You can stop using them at any time, and ask us to close your account and delete your information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or end your access to all or part of Bobbi’s services if:

  • you have breached these Terms, or we reasonably believe you intend to;
  • the law requires us to; or
  • we stop offering all or part of Bobbi’s services.

19. Dispute resolution

If you have a complaint about Bobbi, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If a dispute arises out of or in connection with these Terms, the following applies before either party starts court or tribunal proceedings (except where urgent interim relief is needed):

  • The party raising the dispute gives the other written notice setting out the dispute, the outcome wanted and what is needed to resolve it.
  • Both parties try in good faith to resolve the dispute by negotiation within 28 days of the notice.
  • If it is not resolved within 28 days, either party may refer it to mediation. If the parties cannot agree on a mediator within 7 days, the mediator will be appointed by the Resolution Institute (Australia), and the mediation will follow its Mediation Rules.
  • Unless the parties agree otherwise, mediation takes place in Melbourne, Victoria, or by video conference. Each party pays its own costs, and the mediator’s fees and venue costs are shared equally.
  • If the dispute is not resolved within 2 months of mediation starting, either party may ask the mediator to end the mediation.

Communications made as part of this process are confidential and, to the extent possible, without prejudice. Nothing in this section affects your right to contact a consumer protection agency or other regulator.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and Bobbi submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts that can hear appeals from them.

21. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be void or unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest of these Terms remain in force. If we do not enforce a right under these Terms straight away, we have not waived it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between you and Bobbi about Bobbi’s services.
